Where artwork and music are both creatively expressed and passionately pursued daily. We are always creating new works, so we hope you enjoy your visit and come back often to see what’s new. Thank you for stopping by.

Paula

I am inspired each and every day by the beauty that surrounds me. Fascinated with the changing of light and shadows, the depth of color and reflected light, intricate patterns, textures, forms... I walk through life in awe of Creation.

Born and raised in San Clemente, California, I am so thankful my grandparents chose this beautiful part of the world to call home. This area offers a continuous source of inspiration. Even the same location in varied seasons and times of day present new inspirations. My paintings are in response to images that move me, hoping to capture and share the joy, peace or sense of awe that I feel in that moment.

I work primarily in the pastel medium being drawn to it for its tactile nature and the way the pure color particles catch and refract light. I enjoy exploring various mark making and techniques to capture the quality of light and create texture and movement. Painting is truly a passion for me, the process from beginning to end is full of exploration and discoveries.

I am a member of the Pastel Society of Southern California and also the San Clemente Art Association. I am mostly self-taught, but have also taken work shops under the instruction of Richard McKinley, Marla Baggetta, Stan Sperlak, Sally Strand and Casey Klahn to name a few. Most important to me are the wonderful people I have met along the way… what a blessing this journey has been and it continues to be.

Artist Statement

“Come, let me take you away from the busy-ness of life, even for just a moment.  There is beauty to be discovered all around us… in the obvious, but also in the unexpected.  Through an artistic eye of appreciation, there really is no such thing as ordinary.  You need only to pause long enough to let it reveal itself to you.  I long to share my findings with you, in hopes it brings you peace, refreshment, joy or a sense of awe at the artistry that surrounds us each and every day.”

Bob

Bob’s passion for music became evident at a very early age. Though guitar would always be his favorite, at the age of 10 he began to experiment with various instruments. Those years of experience help bring a depth of understanding and broad musical foundation that Bob brings to every project. Growing up in the Southern California area he began his professional career performing at Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, Magic Mountain and many clubs in the L.A. area. While in his early twenties Bob got his first taste of studio work. That’s all it took. He began to focus on becoming a “studio musician” and has assembled an impressive list of film, jingle, television and CD (album) credits.
